About the High Banks

Composed of clay, the “Kansas Gumbo” you see on the track (and sometimes in your lap) is just one part of the formula that makes racing on the High Banks so unique.

The other part? Well, the high banks themselves! Time and heavy equipment are used to shape the track, which features as much as 23 degrees of banking! The shape of the track (not a true oval, not really a circle) adds to the intrigue. Read More Here
